Picture Dates: April 27, 2023 and July 18, 2023
In my last couple of posts I shared pictures of wildflowers in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Carrizo Plains National Monument. Marie read the posts and shared an updated photo of the same yard as a reminder that the life of flowers – and especially wildflowers – is ephemeral. Here is a picture of a garden of wildflowers in Palo Alton in late April.

After a couple of months with no rain, the same garden today (July 18). The good news is that they are still avoiding water restrictions.

If you want to see wildflowers, go in the Spring – preferably after a wet winter.
