Canada by Rail – My fellow foamers
“Foamer” is what railroad employees call rail fans. It’s because they claim we foam at the mouth when a train rolls by. While I may drool a little bit when I see a train I’ve never actually foamed at the mouth. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

We didn’t travel via rail over every mile of our trip. In order to squeeze Lake Louise and a trip up to a glacier we had to travel from Banff to Jasper by car, tour bus and ice explorer.
