Our last few days of our trip were spent in Victoria, British Columbia. We had a blast exploring around James Bay and Butchart Gardens.

NEMPQ: Travel Day – Shediac, New Brunswick
It is a two day drive from Halifax to Quebec City so we stopped along the way in Shediac to see Le Plus Grand Homard du Monde.
NEMPQ: Nova Scotia
Our stay in Halifax featured a driving tour to Peggys Cove and other sites followed by a rainy-day visit to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
Canada by Rail – Interrupted in Montreal
Our Canada by Rail trip was supposed to take us all the way to the Maritime Provinces. Mother Nature cares not for our plans and Montreal was as far east as we would get.

Canada by Rail – Toronto, Niagara Falls and More
Even though our train arrived in Toronto 8 hours late, we still had plenty of time to explore Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, and dinner in the CN tower.
