This is a book about family; William never really had one – his parents had checked out when we was just a few days old – and the once strong bonds between Julia, Sylvie, and the twins are broken. Red Curry with Tofu and Mushrooms
We try to have meatless dinners at least once a week and for me a nice meat alternative is tofu (which elicits howls of protest among many) – as long as it is crispy and is served in a nice sauce. This NY Times recipe also has mushrooms which adds that umami (savory) taste so we went for it.
